Undefined behaviour: the C/C++ hall of shame_

Valgrind's memcheck tool finds leaks, use-after-free, and reads of uninitialised memory with no recompilation needed. It is slow (10-50x) but thorough. Use ASan for fast feedback during development, Valgrind for final verification.
